Re-capturing the ancient beauty of the Scriptures for a modern audience
Prophecy is here. Prophecy has been happening in an amplifying scale since the Messiah departed, and we have progressively fallen more asleep to the point no one knows the signs to look for. Hollywood has trained our eyes to see prophecy as if it’s an action movie, but the fig tree ripens quietly, as do the signs and the times; mostly going unnoticed while the sheep of Yeshua live out their mundane lives. There are few watchmen on the walls searching for the signs and sounding the trumpet. The Bread of Life is the Word and Instruction, the food for our very souls. It is coming to life more and more with each passing day on God’s fixed clock. Come and study with us as we uncover the appointed times, warnings, and blessings for our generation. Help sound the trumpet!
“Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors! Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. Matthew 24:32-34
About Us
My name is Noah McHugh. I was born in Skull Valley, Arizona and raised in Missouri. Growing up, Ezekiel 37 was firmly planted in my brain as something I hoped to see happen in my lifetime. I guess I felt a special connection to the Valley of Dry Bones, having been born in a valley of dry bones. I started studying prophecy as young as I can remember. My father studied Hebrew and prophecy, and passed down the interest. I grew up in a very legalistic Hebrew Roots household and one of my only escapes during childhood was in climbing trees and sleep. My name in Hebrew means “rest” and I was born on a Sabbath, so that’s no surprise now that I think about it! Dreams and sleep were where God would speak to me and give me rest from an emotionally turbulent household. He started giving me dreams with many symbols I couldn’t interpret. I searched high and low for decades, seeking the meanings of these symbols, but they unraveled VERY slowly. Most of these dreams did nothing but stir up questions to things I could not answer, but teased that the answers were there to be found if I was willing to search. And search I did; all over the world.
The second I turned seventeen, I got out of dodge and enrolled in the US Navy. In the Navy, I was a cryptologist, primarily being utilized as a threat and RADAR analyst. This sounded SUPER cool to me in training, but when I found out that my job was to sit in a dark room day in and day out, it quickly lost its Panash. In short, I specialize in what we in the military call “fusion analysis,” which is collecting the best data from every intel collection source you can get your hands on, weigh each piece of information by confidence level and then produce an assessment. Essentially using facts, logic, and knowledge of your opponent to predict his motives and movements. Thinking this way and using these methods in my own life has proved vital in my spiritual walk.
While I left my home as early as possible due to the chaotic. and twisted application of religion, I still believed every word from the Law, Prophets and the Gospel, and continued to try and copy Yeshua’s example of Torah, which he was showing me through my dreams.
On deployment, God started pressing me to learn the ways of the ancient religions of the Bible and how they are mirrored in today’s world. God had told me in no uncertain terms that I could not celebrate the traditional holidays, but when I went searching for answers as to why, I could not find reliable sources or information with which to make an informed decision as to my stance. Studying the modern holidays led me back in time and I started learning about the ancient customs, symbols, and religions of Egypt, Mesopotamia, Persia, Babylon, Greece and Rome. I studied the gods they worshiped and their images. During all of my deployments, I noticed every nation where we pulled into port had those same gods, images, rituals and functions; just wrapped in a different package and a new name.
After the Navy, I lived in the United Kingdom where I saw the obelisks and sun pillars you read about in the Bible on every street corner. I visited Ireland and was sent by a local to visit a sacred grove of Asherim, also of which goes by a different name now than in the Bible, but the scriptures, historical data and modern applications all started aligning. It was as if God took me around the world to bear witness of its idolatry; many of which came from His own people.
I came back to the US after 8 years abroad, and started my life out a second time, with nothing. I lived in my dad’s basement for a year with nothing but 2 suitcases worth of belongings, as all of them had been commandeered by my first wife. It was a dark time of feeling alone, powerless, and unlovable, but it was paramount for me to begin facing my past, my traumas, and my flaws for the sake of building a future that I could be proud of.
Around this time, I kept getting dreams about the number 25 repeatedly with no clue what it meant. A year later, I met my wife Anna Grace who was named “Grace upon Grace” by her parents. 5x5. I made the connection almost immediately. We married a year later, and have three beautiful boys. Prophecy started really clicking into place in 2020, the exact same time that my wife and I had our first son. 2020 was the year that I felt the pressure to research global events and Biblical prophecy at a faster pace and a deeper scale. It was also the year that God doubled down on healing the traumas and flaws I had not discovered yet. He pressed me to continue challenging and repenting of the generational strongholds I inherited for the spiritual well being of my family. In 2020, it was the beginning of a flood of spiritual dreams my wife and I, and even our boys, started having. Many dreams are starting to unveil and the interpretations have been unlocked. During the span of these years, God keeps showing me the process of how you record, test and study through Scripture; and then interpret the dreams God sends you. The last three and a half years have been filled with many trials, tests, battles and lessons that I feel pressed to now share. These lessons are not just for me, but the whole Body. So here I am again, in a dark room combining the research and findings of scholars, teachers, current events, mentors and life experiences for this time, a prophecy briefing.
Another shared hobby that my wife, all my boys, and I share is love of food. We love to cook and entertain. We also love all things Bible. Through conversation, my wife and I came to the realization that a big part of the sacrificial system and the feast days were that Abba just wanted to have a meal with His people. We see this trend continue with Yeshua, our Messiah when he dined with an intimate few, or even thousands. Cooking the sacrifice was both a physical and spiritual job for the priests in the Temple. Thus we decided to share our love of both physical and spiritual food. Food4theSoul is about taking the spiritual Bread of Scripture and applying it to our daily lives in the physical. To encourage all Yeshua’s priests to cook the daily Bread for their homes first, and then to all who enter their gates.
Hope these findings can bless you and give you insight. Shalom!
